  • Online bookings: Name, email address, phone number, vehicle registration, preferred date and time, and any notes you provide. When you enter your vehicle registration, we look up your vehicle details (make, model, colour, year, fuel type, MOT status) via the DVLA database to confirm your vehicle and pre-fill booking information.
  • Analytics data: When you consent to analytics cookies, we collect anonymous usage data including pages visited, time on site, and referring source via Google Analytics.
  • Technical data: When you visit our website, our mapping and routing services may receive your IP address and approximate location data in order to display maps and calculate drive times. This data is not stored by us.

How We Use Your Data

  • To respond to your enquiries submitted through our contact form.
  • To process and manage bookings made through our online booking system, including confirming appointments and sending reminders.
  • To look up your vehicle details when you provide a registration number, so we can confirm your vehicle and prepare for your appointment.
  • To understand how visitors use our website and improve our services (analytics, with consent).

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months unless you request earlier deletion. Booking data is retained for up to 24 months to support service history and follow-up appointments. Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics' data retention settings (default 14 months).

Third Parties

We share data with the following third-party processors and services:

  • GarageSite / Bulldogs Digital Ltd — our website provider. Processes booking data, contact form submissions, and blog content on our behalf. Data is stored on UK and EU servers.
  • DVLA (via our booking system) — when you enter a vehicle registration, your registration number is used to look up publicly available vehicle details (make, model, year, MOT status) from the DVLA database. This helps us confirm your vehicle.
  • Google Analytics — website usage analytics (with your consent). Data may be processed outside the UK. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel — website hosting. Data may be processed outside the UK. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase — image hosting and storage. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
  • CARTO (CartoDB) — provides map tiles displayed on our website. Your IP address and browser information may be transmitted when loading map images. No personal data is stored. See CARTO's Privacy Policy.
  • OSRM (Open Source Routing Machine) — used to calculate drive times from nearby locations to our garage. Only geographic coordinates are sent; no personal data is transmitted.

International Transfers

Some of our third-party processors (Google, Vercel, Supabase, CARTO) may process data outside the UK. Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses and adequacy decisions, to ensure your data is protected.
